PAUL JABOULET AINÉ

190 years of history

Founded in 1834 on the hill of l’Hermitage in Tain l’Hermitage, the Paul Jaboulet Aîné house oversees an exceptional heritage that brings together the most famous terroirs of the northern Rhone valley and produces quintessential great wines.

Since 1834, two families have succeeded one another in the service of the terroir.

Paul Jaboulet Aîné regards the terroir and the vineyard with the utmost importance. Under the leadership of Caroline Frey, the vines have been certified organic since 2016 and cultivated with a regenerative approach.

Today, Paul Jaboulet Aîné stands as an essential reference and crafts tailor-made cuvées in each of these appellations: Hermitage, Crozes- Hermitage, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Saint-Péray, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Côtes du Rhône.

The cutting-edge winemaking combined with scrupulous care for vines grown in exceptional terroirs, imparts purity and elegance to all the wines of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné, faithfully reflecting their origin.

In 1950, under the leadership of Louis Jaboulet, Parallèle 45, the first-ever Côte du Rhône brand, was created. Since then, it has gained worldwide recognition and acclaim for its exceptional quality and generous character, becoming a celebrated reference across the globe.
